TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS
IAT is experienced in the production and use of FAA regulatory-required documents and manuals. IAT can also manage the future revisions required to assure continued compliance to the changing FAA regulations. IAT can also take operators’ existing documents/manuals and generate revisions; or convert existing documents to a new format.
Aircraft Maintenance & Technical Consulting
What does it take to keep an airlines operational on a daily bases? The airline industry truly has its own unique requirement which separate this industry from any other form of business. In addition to typical business departments such as Logistics, Accounting and IT, an airline must adhere to the requirements set forth by the Federal Aviation Administration. As such, IAT is here to help our customer with the following services:
- General Inspections
Acquisition assessments are General Inspections performed in the early stages for aircraft purchase or lease. This inspection provides the buyer with an overview of the aircraft’s condition prior to the final purchase. IAT performs the visual inspect of the aircraft fuselage, doors and major components such as landing gears, engines, flight controls and avionics. Examination of the historical records for all major/minor repairs and alterations previously accomplish to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft. IAT provides an impartial opinion in the best interest of our customer.
- Special Inspection and Records Audit
Performing evaluations on the major components such as, Landing gears, engines and avionics; reviewing the components’ condition and historical data records for traceability and accuracy.
- QA Technical Records Audit
An aircraft must meet two conditions to be considered airworthy; the aircraft must conform to its type of certificate design and including any supplementary type certificate. The General Inspection and the QA Records Audit goes hand in hand as the audit is supposed represent in paper what was physically performed against the aircraft. IAT Consultants are trained to locate any discrepancies between the Inspection and the Audit. IAT evaluates the Engine, Airframe and Appliances Airworthiness Directives to ensure that all are in compliance and up to date; Furthermore, IAT will collaborate with our customer’s to provide assistance during their conformity inspection if requested.
- Heavy Check Inspections and Aircraft Bridging
IAT will take all finding during the General Inspection and QA Records Audit and create a conformity listing requirements to be performed against the aircraft before it can be release back into service.
- Aircraft Conformity Acceptance
Records presentation for all aircraft records to the FAA for final acceptance of conformity, as required. This presentation would include Aircraft Specification Status, Airframe and Appliance Report, Avionics Listing, Corrosion Program Status, Engine Trace, shop visits, active engine AD’s, Landing Gears Overhaul paperwork and Modifications and Engineering Orders.
